At the Mountain School we have no plans to build multi-million dollar athletic centers or science buildings. With simplicity and sustainability as our guiding principles, we invest over half of our budget into the people here: hiring and retaining the very best faculty, and making the Mountain School available to every qualified teenager, regardless of economic background. We also invest heavily in our farm and in the preservation of our campus buildings and grounds. Your annual fund gift ensures that we can continue to offer a quality semester education that inspires people to make a difference in the world. The 2008 annual
fund set the ambitious goal of raising $450,000. The generosity of
Mountain School graduates, parents, and friends helped us exceed
that amount. Graduate giving has been particularly strong: in two
years, the percentage of alumni who made a gift has more than doubled from 16%
to 38%. Thanks to all who have made the annual fund such a success!
