Giving to the Mountain School

Calendar Dates for the 2008-'09 Academic Year

Important Dates: Fall, 2008 (Full Calendar Here)

August 23 There will be a parent orientation session at 2 pm. Folks can arrive any time between 10:30 and 2:00 that day.
September 24-27 Solo camping trip
October 10-13 Long weekend begins at noon on Friday, October 10th with a wonderful harvest feast that parents, family, and friends are invited to--students return Monday, October 13th by 6 pm.
October 18 PSAT administered at the Mountain School
November 25-December 1 begins Tuesday, November 25th at noon and students return Monday, December 1st by 6pm.
December 13 There will be a meeting for parents at 9:45, closing ceremony begins at 10:30, followed by lunch for all at around 12:30.

January 31 School opens. Lunch at 12. Parents’ meeting at 2 p.m.
March 13 Spring break begins: Friday, 12:00 noon.
March 29 Spring break ends: Sunday, 6 p.m.
April 22-25 Solo camping trip
ACT test dates April 4, June 13
SAT test dates January 24 (at home), May 2 (here), June 6 (home)
May 30 Closing ceremony—10:30 a.m.
