A note about COVID-19

Our small size, attentive faculty, spacious campus, and proximity to Dartmouth Health allows us to promote healthy habits—washing hands, disinfecting surfaces, eating fresh food, enjoying outdoor exercise—that promote resilience and good health for teenagers.

We recommend the COVID-19 shots and boosters. We will continue to follow best practices for COVID-19 safety on our campus. If you have further questions about our COVID-19 protocols, please contact our Director of Admissions.

Tuition and Expenses

For the 2023-2024 academic year, Mountain School tuition is $36,975 per semester, which includes room and board. Milton Academy will invoice tuition in August for the Fall 2023 semester and December for the Spring 2024 semester. Tuition is due 30 days from the invoice date.

In addition, we require that students are covered by a health insurance plan. If necessary, a half-year plan can be obtained through Milton Academy, which also offers elective accident and tuition-refund insurance. For questions about billing or health insurance, please contact our Business Manager.

If you must forfeit your spot before the semester begins, we may be able to welcome a student from our waitlist. In that case, we would not require your tuition; however, deposits are non-refundable.

You can take the PSAT, SAT, ACT, and AP exams while attending the Mountain School. Click here to learn more.
