Where Mountain School Students Go Next
The Mountain School's semester experience prepares students for success at the nation's most selective colleges and universities. From 2021 to 2025, our alumni matriculated to over 100 institutions, including Brown, Dartmouth, Colgate, Cornell, Harvard, Middlebury, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, and Williams, with many colleges welcoming 10 or more Mountain School graduates.
What sets our students apart isn't just where they go—it's who they become during their semester with us. Through challenging academics, hands-on farm work, and immersive community living, students develop the intellectual curiosity, resilience, and authentic self-awareness that top colleges actively seek, entering the application process with clarity about their strengths and educational goals.
